Usage

Bamboo flooring is an extremely versatile floor covering that can be used in both commercial and residential properties in almost any type of room. Bamboo is a naturally strong material that makes the perfect floor covering. Some types of bamboo flooring (strand woven) are over twice as hard as Oak flooring so make it the ideal choice for busy areas and even commercial properties.

The main advantages of bamboo flooring are that it is durable, hardwearing, versatile, cost effective, easy to install, easy to maintain and eco-friendly. Why not find out more here: Advantages of bamboo flooring. As already mentioned, bamboo flooring is extremely versatile and can be used in residential properties, commercial areas and even with underfloor heating

Our range includes a variety of floors with various colour tones, grain patterns, surface finishes and plank sizes, so we are sure you will find something to complement your space.

What is the best way to install bamboo flooring?

Generally, bamboo flooring can either be floated over an underlay or secured down to the subfloor using glue or nails. Usually you can choose either installation method depending upon your subfloor and your preference. The only exception to this is if you are using bamboo flooring in a commercial property – it must then be fixed directly to the subfloor so that it has the stability required to cope with extremely busy areas.

How do I maintain my bamboo floor once it is installed?

It is very easy to look after and care for your bamboo floor once it has been installed.  You will want to keep it looking clean and fresh, so aim to sweep your floor once a day to remove any dust, dirt or grime. In addition to sweeping you will also need to clean your bamboo floor using a PH neutral cleaning spray and mop.
