What are the different types of bamboo flooring?

Strand woven bamboo flooring is made in a more innovative way.  The bamboo is shredded and woven together to create a stronger and more versatile floor covering.  Strand woven bamboo is over twice as hard as Oak flooring.

How do I look after bamboo flooring in my kitchen?

Bamboo flooring is quite easy to look after.  Firstly, a routine of sweeping and cleaning on a regular basis will keep your bamboo looking clean and fresh.  The only difference with a kitchen is that you will need to be conscious of wiping away any water spills straight away.  It can be damaging to leave water or other liquids to soak into your bamboo floor.  Similarly, if you spill any food is spilt on the floor, you should clean it away as soon as you can. This will help to prevent unwanted stains or marks appearing on the surface of the bamboo.
