Carbonised horizontal bamboo flooring throughout the lounge and entrance hall of a modern bungalow

Tristan has lived in his bungalow in Dorset for over a year and decided it was time to replace the outdated carpet.  He knew that he wanted a hard-wearing modern floor so started looking for suitable options.  Tristan ordered some samples of different types and colours of bamboo flooring to gain a better understanding of the textures, colour tones, look and feel of the flooring, before finally deciding on Carbonised horizontal bamboo flooring.

The new flooring was fitted throughout the spacious lounge and entrance hall. The finishing touches were added with matching bamboo door bars.  Tristan thinks that it was “easy to lay and the flooring looks amazing,” and would definitely recommend The Bamboo Flooring Company to family and friends.

Bamboo flooring is perfect for busy areas, like hallways and living spaces as it is hard wearing and durable.  This particular type of bamboo is as hard as Oak flooring. It is also much more sustainable than any hardwood flooring option.

The horizontal structure of this bamboo flooring really shows off its beauty.  It means that the beautiful grain pattern and distinctive knots of the bamboo are visible.  Giving a truly natural and sophisticated feel to both of these rooms.  The bamboo has been carbonised, a process where the bamboo turns a rich brown colour.  We feel it is a perfect match for Tristan’s fresh bright walls and dark coloured furniture.

“The bamboo flooring was easy to lay and the adhesive supplied provides a good bond between the flooring and the cement base. We are very happy with the floor and everyone who has visited the property comments on how good the flooring looks. I have already recommended the Bamboo Flooring Company to a number of friends and colleagues.”
