A newly renovated bungalow using Solid Carbonised Horizontal Bamboo Flooring for the kitchen area.
Mark has lived in his bungalow in Cornwall for over 20 years. He decided to complete some renovation work to make a bigger kitchen area. Two rooms were knocked through to create one large kitchen with space for a dining table. When deciding on which floor to use for the newly renovated area of the bungalow, Mark looked at a few different alternatives, including engineered hardwood flooring and bamboo flooring. Mark decided to use Solid Carbonised Horizontal Bamboo Flooring because it matched the new bamboo work surfaces in the kitchen.
Bamboo flooring is extremely versatile and hard wearing so a great choice for an open plan kitchen and dining area like this.
The carbonised colour of this bamboo flooring gives a rich brown coffee colour, and the horizontal structure means that the characteristic grain and distinctive bamboo knots can clearly be seen. The carbonised horizontal bamboo flooring looks fantastic, running throughout Mark’s newly renovated kitchen area of this bungalow. We love the way that the flooring matches the bamboo worktops and complements the dark kitchen cabinets perfectly. Mark is very happy with his bamboo flooring as it gives a “lovely light reflective appearance” in the kitchen and has a “strong finish”.
He was also pleased with the efficiency of the staff and the speed of delivery from The Bamboo Flooring Company. He would definitely recommend the flooring to friends and family. “Our Builders found it easy to Install and they said they would recommend it to their customers.”
