Brushed bamboo flooring is essentially strand woven bamboo flooring that has been brushed during the manufacturing process. The strand woven flooring has been produced in such a way to create strong, durable and sustainable bamboo flooring, and then during the final stage of manufacture the planks of flooring have been brushed with a wire brush to give a rustic and textured surface.
The flooring has then been finished with Bona anti-scratch lacquer, which provides strength and hardness while maintaining a natural looking floor.
Brushed strand woven bamboo flooring is available in a natural bamboo colour (golden and pale tones), or a carbonised effect (darker brown and coffee coloured).
As with all types of strand woven flooring, it is extremely durable and over twice as hard as Oak flooring. It has a click fitting system, making installation quick and straightforward and can be installed over almost any type of subfloor and can be used with underfloor heating.
