Choosing a bamboo floor style and colour is usually down to personal preference, but here are some tips that might help you along the way.


Which bamboo floor for busy areas

If you are looking for a hardwearing and durable floor, which will stand the test of time in busy areas, you should choose strand woven bamboo flooring.  The bamboo has been woven together to create a strong and durable floor covering.  It is over twice as hard as Oak flooring and has loads of added benefits.  


Which one for underfloor heating

Which bamboo floor for my bedroom

Any bamboo is suitable for your bedroom.  The choice will really be down to your personal preference of colour and style.  


Which one for my hallway and staircase

We have matching stair nosing profiles to match all of our bamboo floors, so the choice is yours.  Just remember that if you are fitting bamboo floor to your staircase, you will need to glue it down using flexible flooring adhesive. 


What are the different styles available?

There are a few different styles to choose from.  Here are some of the options to think about when making your decision:

• Plank style flooring or parquet block

• Vertical grain pattern, Horizontal grain pattern or Strand Woven

• Wide plank or narrow plank

• Tongue and groove or click fitting

• Distressed surface finish or a smooth surface finish

Think about which style and finish will complement and co-ordinate with your interior décor.
