Which Bamboo Floors are best for areas with high footfall?

When deciding upon a new bamboo floor it is vital that you think about the space that it will go into and how much traffic or footfall it will receive.  If it will have a relatively low amount of people walking over it then it does not cause too much worry and any type of bamboo flooring will be sufficient.

However, if it is a busy space with high footfall (for example, a hallway or living room), then it is worth considering a more durable bamboo floor like Strand Woven Bamboo.

Bamboo Flooring Care Guide

Strand woven bamboo flooring is extremely durable and over twice as hard as Oak flooring, but still has the beauty of it being an eco-friendly natural product.  It is ideal for commercial areas or any areas with high footfall as it is resilient to daily wear and tear.  Strand woven bamboo is available in a range of different colours, including natural, carbonised and rustic, and can be found with a click fitting system or the more traditional tongue and groove fitting.
