In recent years the popularity of parquet block bamboo flooring has grown. Wooden parquet block flooring has always been popular, but by choosing bamboo you are getting the added sustainability and durability of the product. Furthermore, all of our parquet block bamboo flooring is made from strand woven bamboo, which is over twice as hard as Oak flooring.

What do the amazing parquet patterns look like?
Here is a closer look at each of the three amazing parquet patterns:
This is the most popular style of installing parquet block flooring. The end result is that your herringbone style creates a ‘v’ shape. Each block is laid out at a 45 degree angle so that they join against each other in a diagonal pattern.
Basket weave parquet block gives you a classic and timeless looking floor. Each block is laid out at a 90 degree angle in small square sections. The end result is that your floor looks like it has been weaved together.
Brickbond is a style where the parquet blocks are laid out in rows, parallel to each other, creating a brick work pattern. You can achieve this pattern easily with parquet blocks, but also with regular plank style bamboo flooring.
Although parquet block bamboo flooring is versatile, it is worth noting that you cannot use it to create a chevron pattern. This is a different style and shape of flooring altogether.
