What is Click Bamboo Flooring?

Click bamboo flooring refers to the installation method of a type of bamboo flooring.
Bamboo flooring with a click fitting system is designed and manufactured for easy and simple DIY installation. It is becoming more and more popular amongst DIYers as it requires less skill and equipment than other, more traditional, installation methods. The planks of bamboo flooring have specially designed interlocking joints that allows them to be clicked and locked together without the need for specialist equipment, screws, nails or glue. It also means that the planks of bamboo flooring fit together tightly and securely to provide a smooth finished floor without any gaps.

underfloor heating systems and installed in a variety of different ways including: loose laid over an underlay or glued directly down to the subfloor.

Although click bamboo flooring is becoming more and more popular with homeowners, the one disadvantage is that it must have a solid subfloor, so cannot be installed over joists. Alternatively, bamboo flooring is available with a more traditional tongue and groove fitting system that can be installed over any subfloor of a sound quality.
