Distressed bamboo flooring means that the surface has a distressed or textured feel.  During the manufacturing stage, the planks of bamboo flooring have been distressed to create a more rustic appearance.  The bamboo has then been finished with a matt lacquer which provides the protection against damage from daily wear and tear.
