Gluing Over Underlay

If you decide to float your bamboo flooring over an underlay, and you have tongue and groove bamboo, you will need to glue the tongues and grooves together to ensure that the planks have a tight and seamless fit.  Remember to leave an expansion gap around the edge of the room to allow for natural movement and changes in the bamboo which occur with fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
