When deciding upon the colour and shade of your bamboo floor it can be a very important and overwhelming decision. Our bamboo floors have been categorised into three main colours: Dark Bamboo, Light Bamboo and Medium Bamboo. They all have completely different features and characteristics and will look entirely different in your home. 

You should think about your existing décor, size and style of room to help you to choose the right flooring for you. In general, choosing a bamboo floor is fantastic as they are strong, durable, eco-friendly, easy to install and easy to look after. The choice is now yours!

Which flooring colour should I choose?

The choice of whether to go for a dark, medium or light shade of bamboo floor is entirely up to you and your personal preference. The main advice is to really think about the space that the flooring will go into – the type of interior décor you have, the furnishings in the room, the style of the room, the size of the room and the amount of natural light it gets. 

A light coloured floor can add an immediate contrast to a darker space, and it can help to create an airy atmosphere while creating an illusion of a depth and space.

A medium coloured floor is a safe options as it will generally suit any size or style of area, whilst giving the element of natural beauty and charisma.  

If you have a large space that already has a lot of natural light, you may prefer a medium or darker coloured bamboo floor, which will help to complement the space while adding the character and charm of bamboo.
